01|John Lewis推出童装租赁服务
John Lewis宣布与Thelittleloop童装租赁平台合作。目前,试点中的商品包括 John Lewis品牌2022春夏系列的51种单品。这是John Lewis可持续发展举措的一部分,此前他们曾承诺到 2030 年将其纺织品供应链的温室气体排放减少50%。

01|John Lewis launched children clothing rental service
John Lewis has announced a partnership with Thelittleloop, a children's clothing rental platform. The trial currently includes 51 items from the John Lewis Spring/Summer 2022 collection.
It is part of John Lewis' sustainability initiative following its commitment to reduce greenhouse gas emissions from their textile supply chain by 50% by 2030. The head of fashion category in John Lewis stated the group planned to look for greener ways, with a womenswear rental business likely to be launched in the future.

02|The plan of Shibaura project in Japan is released
On 23 May, Nomura Real Estate and JR East announced the construction of the Shibaura project, which is a huge complex of office buildings, hotels, commercial facilities and residential buildings. The project covers about 4.7 hectares with a total building area of about 550,000 square meters.
Building S covers 3,305 square meters. It is planned to introduce stores mainly for office workers and neighbors and is expected to be completed in February 2025. Building N is about 14,870 square meters and is expected to be completed in 2030. Details will be announced soon.
03|涩谷丸井将于2026 年改建为木制商业设施
丸井集团5月27日宣布,将于8月28日暂时关闭涩谷丸井,大楼将拆除,并改建为全面木制商业设施,预计2026年开业。重建期间,涩谷莫迪也将继续营业。据悉,涩谷丸井自1971年开业以来,经营了约50年,是公司的旗舰项目。
03|Shibuya Marui will be converted into wooden commercial facility in 2026
Marai Group announced on 27 May that Shibuya Marai will temporarily shut down on 28 August while the building is converted into a full-scale wooden commercial facility, which is expected to open in 2026. Shibuya Modi will also remain open during reconstruction. Shibuya Marui has been operating for about 50 years since it opened in 1971 and is the company's flagship project.
04|新加坡环球影城小黄人乐园正式开工
5月26日,新加坡环球影城最新主题园区小黄人乐园正式开工建设,将于2024年建成开放。建成后的小黄人乐园设拥有众多专属于新加坡环球影城的原创游乐设施,以及沉浸式3D游乐设施,旨在娱乐各个年龄段的客群。

04|Universal Studios Singapore officially started Minion Land construction
On 26 May, universal Studios Singapore officially started construction on its latest theme park, Minion Land, which will open in 2024. The new project will feature a host of original rides exclusive to Universal Studios Singapore, as well as immersive 3D rides designed to entertain guests of all ages.
As an integral part of Resorts World Sentosa (RWS)2.0 expansion, Minion Land will enrich the entertainment experience at Universal Studios Singapore and make it a popular attraction for local and overseas visitors.
05|巴黎迪士尼全新主题区“复仇者联盟基地”即将开放
迪士尼宣布巴黎华特迪士尼影城内全新的“复仇者联盟基地”(Avengers Campus)主题区将于7月20日开放,作为巴黎迪士尼乐园30周年的庆祝活动之一。除了日期确认之外,还发布了许多宣传图片。
复仇者联盟基地是以漫威电影宇宙为基础设置的漫威主题园区,分设在迪士尼加州冒险乐园(2021年6月开放)、巴黎华特迪士尼影城(即将开放)和香港迪士尼乐园(预计2023年开放)。
05|Disney Paris' new theme area “Avengers Campus” to be opened
Disney announced that the new Avengers Campus at Walt Disney Studios Paris will open on 20 July as part of the park's 30th anniversary celebrations. In addition to the opening date, a number of promotional images were released.
Avengers Campus is a Marvel-themed park based on the Marvel films, which will be divided into Disney's California Adventure (opening in June 2021), Walt Disney Studios Paris (opening soon) and Hong Kong Disneyland (opening in 2023).

02|Amazon opens its first physical clothing store in Los Angeles
US e-commerce giant Amazon has announced the opening of its first physical clothing retail store, Amazon Style, in Los Angeles, aiming to provide customers with a convenient and personalized shopping experience to find their favorite fashion items through advanced technology and operations.
Covering an area of 2,700 square meters, the store will sell hundreds of brands of men's and women's clothing, shoes and accessories, consistent with those on the Amazon APP. The stores feature machine learning technology to help customers find the right clothes and make personalized suggestions.

Victoria's Secret, a lingerie brand in the US, reported earnings for Q1 of fiscal 2022. The report showed sales fell 4.5% y--o-y to $1.484 billion due to volatility in the global retail environment, while beating market expectations.
The group's net profit reached $80.8 million, bringing its profit for the past 12 months to more than $1 billion. Victoria's Secret forecast low single-digit sales growth in Q2 compared with the same period last year, with operating income to be between $125 million and $155 million.

05|Capri Group revenue reached new record last fiscal year
On 1 June, US luxury goods group Capri Holdings Ltd. announced key financial numbers for Q4 and full year of fiscal 2022 (ended 2 April) : Sales increased 24.6% ye-o-y to $1.492 billion in Q4, with Versace, Jimmy Choo, and Micheal Kors performing better than expected.
Total sales for fiscal 2022 reached a record $5.654 billion, while net profit swung to a profit of $822 million from a loss of $62 million the previous year.

According to sources quoted in British media, Authentic Brands Group, Forever 21's parent company, is expected to win the Ted Baker bid for £300 million, but there are also reports that the Group could cancel the bid and spend the cash elsewhere. Private equity firm Sycamore has dropped out of the Ted Baker bid. Ted Baker and Authentic Brands Group did not respond to requests for now.
