01|日本东武铁道新TOD项目问世,设1200平草地开放空间

东武铁道株式会社8月13日宣布,将于9月16日在东武动物公园站西口开设“东武动物公园站西口商业设施”。其中,东武store和MUJI将在此处开店。

除了销售基本的本地化产品、家居杂货外,其还设置了约1200平的草坪开放空间、以及共享厨房等,消费者可以在此处享受野餐和亲子时光。
 
02|The new TOD project under Japan TOBU Railway road came out, with 1200 square meters of lawn open space

TOBU Railway Co., Ltd. announced on 13 August that it will open the "TOBU Animal Park Station West Entrance Commercial Project" on 13 September at the west entrance of The Station. TOBU Store and MUJI will open stores here.

02|香港中环街市重新开放,首阶段出租率超过八成

中环街市自2003年关闭至今,近18年终于重新开放。

市建局、华懋集团联合公布,中环街市会在8月23日开放试业,由市建局、华懋集团共同管理及营运。中环街市项目总楼面约12.2万平方尺,可供出租面积约5.65万平方尺,提供100多个以开放式设计的零售或餐饮空间。


02|Hong Kong Central commercial streets reopens with over 80% occupancy in Phase I

Central commercial streets reopened after nearly 18 years since it was closed in 2003.

Central commercial streets, which will be jointly managed and operated by the URA and Chinachem Group, will open for business on 23 August. With a gross floor area of about 122,000 square feet, of which about 56,500 square feet is leasable, the Central commercial streets project will provide more than 100 retailing or restaurant spaces.

Hainan Tourism Duty Free (HTDF) and South Korea Shilla Hotels& Resorts (referred to as Shilla Hotels) held an online signing ceremony of strategic cooperation agreement, and the two sides will make use of their respective advantages to jointly explore the duty-free market in Hainan and overseas.

Shilla Hotels is under Samsung Group and its Shilla duty free business has been dedicated to developing its business worldwide since its opening in 1986.
 
04|三井林口奥莱二期动工,将成为北台湾最大购物中心

据奥特莱斯官网消息,三井不动产去年宣布将于三井奥特莱斯购物城·林口旁「林口媒体园区」展开的复合式商业设施开发,投入资金合计44.4亿台币。项目早前进行动工祈福仪式,预计奥特莱斯二期将规划90间店铺,2024年完工后与一期现有220间店铺整合后可达310间店铺规模,成为北台湾最具规模的购物中心。

三井林口奥莱二期,除规划吸引更多休闲购物需求,近年林口地区的快速发展与移住人口的成长,生活需求亦逐年增加,考量未来预计林口媒体园区进驻大量员工的需求,将会更加强化餐饮、大型专卖店、娱乐等品牌的导入,包括国际品牌、日系品牌、奥莱品牌商品等。


04|Mitsui Fudosan Linkou Outlets’ Phase Ⅱ started construction and will become the largest shopping center in northern Taiwan

According to Outlets' website, Mitsui Fudosan announced last year that it would invest NT$4.44 billion to develop a complex commercial complex in the Linkou Media Park near Mitsui Fudosan Outlets. The groundbreaking ceremony was held earlier. It is expected that  Phase Ⅱ of Outlets will have 90 stores. Once finished in 2024, the existing 220 stores in Phase I will be integrated to reach 310 stores in total, making it the largest shopping center in northern Taiwan.

Mitsui Fudosan Linkou Outlets Phase Ⅱ, plans to add more entertainment and shopping area to meet the growing need from the rapid development of Linkou district and population. Considering the future demand of huge employees, it will strengthen specialty restaurant, large exclusive agencies, entertainment and other import brands, including international brands, Japanese brands, Outlets brand and so on.
 
05|塞浦路斯奥特莱斯购物村Neo Plaza将于九月开业

据奥特莱斯网消息,地中海岛国塞浦路斯即将迎来第一家奥特莱斯购物村Neo Plaza。目前该项目所有主要建设工作已经完成,正在进行最后的润色工作,以准备好在9月的开业仪式上开门迎客。

该项目位于首都尼克西亚西部,距市中心仅15分钟车程,占地5.5万平方米,总可租面积9220平方米,投资约4500万欧元,拥有约45家时装、化妆品和餐饮店铺,其中一些品牌是在该岛首次亮相。项目包含免费停车位1100个。按计划,该项目不仅吸引众多游客,还会吸引来自全岛的常住居民。Neo Plaza将创造350个就业机会。目前项目90%的铺位已出租。


05|Outlets shopping village-Neo Plaza in Cyprus will open in September

The Mediterranean island of Cyprus is set to welcome its first Outlets shopping village- Neo Plaza, according to Outlets’ official reports. All major construction work has been completed and the final touches are being put on to prepare the project for its opening ceremony in September.

The project is located in the west of the capital Nicosia, only 15 minutes from the city center. It covers an area of 55,000 square meters, with a total rental area of 9,220 square meters. With an investment of about €45 million, it has around 45 fashion stores, cosmetics and catering shops, some of which are making their debut on the island. 

The project includes 1,100 free parking lots. The project is planned to attract not only tourists but also permanent residents from across the island. Neo Plaza will create 350 jobs and it has reached letting rate of 90% for now.
 
06|新世界百货公司将在韩国大田开设第二家百货商店

据悉,新设百货面积为284,224平方米,将成为新世界百货在韩国的第三大门店。

该项目名称是Shinsegae Art & Science,由百货商店和193层的新世界博览会大厦组成,其中含有水族馆、科学展示空间、多功能电影院、室内体育主题公园等。同时,新世界百货自营五星级酒店-Onoma,第一家门店也将在此面世。


06|Shinsegae to open second department store in Daejeon, Korea

At 284,224 square meters, it is to be the brand’s third-largest store in South Korea.

The new project is called Shinsegae Art & Science, will consist of a department store and the 193-story Shinsegae Expo Tower, furnished with an aquarium, science exhibition spaces, a multiplex cinema and an indoor sports theme park. Its self-operated five-star hotel-Onoma, will make its first store debut in Shinsegae Art & Science.

02|Hermès opens new store in Detroit

Hermès has secured a 293 sqm. (3,154 sq.ft.) unit on the ground floor of Somerset Collection, a shopping centre in Troy, a leafy suburban area of town. Nestled in between the boutiques of luxury peers Tiffany, Gucci and Salvatore Ferragamo. The new Hermès store carries men’s and women’s apparel, accessories, bags, shoes, jewellery, fragrances, homeware, and also items from the equestrian collection.

Swedish fast fashion group H&M recently announced that it will cooperate with British technical service provider Reflaunch to launch C2C resale platform H&M wear in Canada on the 7th of next month.

01|Zara母公司Inditex预计提前十年实现净零排放  

西班牙快时尚巨头Inditex集团年度股东大会于日前举办,董事长Pavlo Isla在会上表示,2020年集团不仅实现了既定的可持续目标,且提前实现约35%的服装带有Join Life标签、使用的80%能源来自可再生能源以及可持续棉花使用量提高至91%等目标。在此前提下,Inditex集团预计将提前十年,在2040年实现净零排放的目标,到2025年集团整个供应链中的用水量将减少25%。

03|Hong Kong Sino Group: Shopping centers’ traffic and spending have almost recovered to 2019 levels

Director of Asset Management Choi Bing lam  of Sino Group said Sino Group's regional flagship stores had seen a 20% increase in traffic and a 30% increase in spending, both of which were roughly back to 2019 levels. The group will continue to hold more marketing activities, such as lucky draws and red envelopes, to attract more local consumers.

She added that Tuen Mun Town Plaza, Citywalk and Olympian City, all of which are located at transport hubs, have a occupancy rate of over 90%. Tuen Mun Town Plaza, which has floor area of more than 1 million square feet, has an average daily flow of about 300,000 people. At present, 30 to 40% of the floor area reflected Japanese style. The tenants include AEON Department Store, Dondonki, Donki and so on.

In the future, the proportion of catering will be increased from the current 20% to 25%, and cosmetics and skin care brands, electronic products and casual clothing stores will also be added.

06|Report says Italian fashion brands have €3.9 billion of market potential in China

According to the latest report released by the Italian Confederation of Industrialists, the fashion industry, which covers clothing, home textiles, leather goods, shoes, glasses and jewelry, has room for growth of nearly €14 billion in developed regions and €6.4 billion in emerging markets.

Japanese animation industry saw its first decline in a decade last year, with sales dropping 1.8% from pre-epidemic levels to 251.1 billion yen, kyodo News reported on 15 August. 

Despite the huge success of films such as "Ghost Blade: Infinity Train”, Japanese animation industry is in a slump due to the COVID-19 epidemic. Nearly half of the 300 Japanese animation producers surveyed said sales falling 50% last year, while only 31.1% reported an increase in profits.

PatPat, the world's largest children's clothing brand, recently announced that it has obtained a round of D2 financing of US $160 million exclusively invested by Softbank vision fund phase II.

Starting from children's clothing, PatPat is committed to building a global brand of mother and child family consumption scene. 02|lululemon投资植物尼龙可持续材料公司

加拿大瑜伽服饰品牌lululemon 8月18日表示,公司于近日投资了可持续材料制造公司Genomatica,双方达成长期合作,但未披露具体金额等细节。lululemon未来将与Genomatica共同研发一种植物性尼龙,以取代目前的传统尼龙,旨在更好地落实品牌在去年10月定下的环境目标。自今年以来,lululemon股价累计上涨12.8%,市值约为509亿美元。


02|Lululemon invests in plant nylon sustainable materials

Lululemon, a Canadian yoga clothing brand, said on 18 August that the company recently invested in Genomatica, a sustainable material manufacturing company. The two sides reached a long-term cooperation, but did not disclose the specific amount and other details. 

In the future, lululemon will work with Genomatica to develop a plant nylon to replace the current traditional nylon, aiming to better implement the environmental goal set by the brand in October last year. Since this year, lululemon's share price has risen 12.8% and its market value is about $50.9 billion.
 
03|美高梅酒店将被Vici Properties收购

房地产投资信托基金Vici Properties同意收购美高梅国际酒店集团,该交易总价值为172亿美元,预计于2022年上半年完成。根据该协议,美高梅度假村于2016年剥离了美高梅增长地产,成为该公司大部分房地产的所有者,预计将从这笔交易中获得约4亿美元的现金,并将拥有价值约3.7亿美元的Vici 1%的股份。


03|MGM Grand to be acquired by Vici Properties

Vici Properties, a real estate investment trust, agreed to acquire MGM international hotel group, with a total value of US $17.2 billion, which is expected to be completed in the first half of 2022. According to the agreement, MGM resort stripped off MGM Growth Properties in 2016 and became the owner of most of the company's real estate. It is expected to obtain about US $400 million in cash from the transaction and hold 1% of Vici worth about US $370 million.
