01|美国百货JC Penney推出高级女装品牌Ryegrass

据悉,美国百货JC Penney(彭尼百货)日前宣布,将推出高级女装品牌Ryegrass,该品牌的首个系列包括衬衫、连衣裙、短裙、牛仔裤、短裤等,设计理念是选择可以叠加的单品来创造毫不费力的精致外观。值得注意的是,该品牌是J.C.Penney在六个月份推出的第五个自有品牌女装,该公司今年还将进一步增加其女装自有品牌。


01|US department store JC Penney launches high-end womenswear brand Ryegrass

JC Penney has announced that it will launch its own high-end womenswear brand Ryegrass. The brand's first collection will consist of shirts, dresses, skirts, jeans and shorts. 

The idea is to choose pieces that can be stacked together to create an effortlessly refined look. Notably, the brand is JC Penney's fifth private-label womenswear in six months, and the company will expand its womenswear portfolio further this year.
 
02|耗资28亿美元的墨尔本广场(Melbourne Square Shopping Centre)一期正式完工

墨尔本广场是OSK地产在澳大利亚与马来西亚Employees Provident Fund合作的首个大型购物中心综合体项目,目前含有六座塔楼,包括办公大楼、豪华酒店和极大的商业空间Woolworths Melbourne广场,同时规划的私人及公共面积高达14000平方米。

澳大利亚Primewest集团于近期斥资7000万美元收购了坐落于该项目中心位置的Woolworths Melbourne广场。Primewest执行董事长约翰•邦德表示,他们很高兴收购该资产,地理位置优越,周边住宅密集,娱乐、商业和大学校园等消费主体应有尽有。


02|Stage one completed at $2.8 billion Melbourne Square Shopping Centre

Melbourne Square Shopping Centre is OSK Property’s large shopping center complex in Australia in partnership with Employees Provident Fund of Malaysia, which includes 6 towers when fully completed, where there will be a workplace tower, luxury hotel and a huge retail precinct, along with 14,000m2 vast private and public amenity.

Primewest recently paid $70 million for Woolworths Melbourne Square, which sits at the heart of the proposed Melbourne Square Complex. Primewest Executive Chairman John Bond said the company was delighted to have secured the Melbourne Square asset, with the location forecast to trade extremely well due to the intensive residential development in the area as well as the flow on effect from the surrounding entertainment, commercial and university campus amenities.

03|上海迪士尼试运营人脸识别入园

5月24日,“上海迪士尼度假区发布”官方微信公众号发布消息称,为进一步优化游客体验,2021年5月26日起,上海迪士尼乐园已开启人脸识别入园试运营。同时,在试运营期间,该服务将仅针对乐园无限钻石年卡持卡人开放。

消息还显示,在该服务的试运营初期,根据当天运营情况,乐园主入口将设有人脸识别入园标识的专门闸机通道。


03|Shanghai Disneyland piloted face recognition inside

Shanghai Disney Resort began a trial operation of face recognition on 26 May 2021 to further optimize the visitor experience, according to its official WeChat account statement on May 24. Meanwhile, during the trial period, the service will only be available to park unlimited diamond annual cardholders.

It’s reported that the main entrance of the park was equipped with a special gate for facial recognition of entry signs according to the real-time operation.
 
04|澳大利亚最大零售商Woolworths开始建设新社区购物中心

澳大利亚最大零售商Woolworths旗下位于悉尼北部Chatswood的新型社区购物中心建设工作已经提上日程。该项目耗资3000万美元,预计于2022年完工正式对外开放。届时将提供大约100个工作岗位和超过4000平方米的零售空间。

Australia largest retailer Woolworths has begun work on a new shopping centre development in Chatswood, north Sydney. The project costs about $30 million and will be opened to the public once it completed in 2022, when it will be home to more than 4,000m2 of retail space with 150 jobs.

05|Macy's expanding into pets, hair care and fine dining to attract new customers

Macy's stated that it has begun investment in new areas, including toys, health and wellness, pets and home decoration. Last March, the department store chain was not as prepared as it had hoped when Americans began scouring the Internet for office supplies and toys to entertain children at home. CEO Jeff Gennette said: "We were signalised by customers that the search had failed and we’ll adjust in time."

伦敦著名百货公司Selfridges日前宣布,将于今年夏天推出婚礼场所租赁服务。

新婚夫妇可以在牛津街Selfridges百货四楼租赁小型婚礼套房,另外,Selfridges还提供三种不同类型的婚礼服务套餐。套餐其中***格为9000美元,夫妻双方可以邀请4名宾客参加婚礼仪式,Selfridges将提供妆发服务、早餐服务以及一间私人影院。

London department store Selfridges has announced that it will launch a wedding venue rental service  from this summer.

Newlyweds can rent a small wedding suite on 4th floor of Selfridges Oxford store. In addition, Selfridges offers three different types of wedding suits. Prices start at $9,000 and couples can invite up to four guests to the ceremony, with Selfridges offering hair style, makeup, breakfast and a private cinema.

07|香港铜锣湾罗素街疫后租金跌近7成,近日最大宗租务为60万/月

曾多次被评为全球最贵铺租地段的香港铜锣湾罗素街,受疫情影响失去亚太区冠军宝座,该地段店铺过去一年仅录零星租务,并主要涉及散货场、口罩店、红包袋店短租,极少长租个案,整体租金跌近7成。

据悉,铜锣湾罗素街8号前劳力士专门店铺位,每月约60万元租用,面积约2,693平方呎,为疫后罗素街录得最大宗租务。


07|Russell Street’s rents in Causeway Bay, Hong Kong, fell by nearly 70% after the epidemic, with the highest rent of $600,000 per month recently

Russell Street in Causeway Bay, Hong Kong, which has been ranked as the most expensive shopping area in the world for many times, lost its first place in the Asia Pacific region due to the epidemic. It’s reported that the former Rolex store at 8 Russell Street, Causeway Bay has been rented for about $600,000 per month, with an area of about 2,693 square feet. This is the highest rent ever recorded in Russell Street since the epidemic.

08|M&S accelerates changes and reshuffles its leadership team

M&S has announced the appointment of Katie Bickerstaffe and Stuart Machin as CO-COO together. Katie Bickerstaffe will oversee the data, services, clothing, home and international businesses, while Stuart Machin will continue as general manager of food department, while also responsible for operations, property, store development and IT. M&S stated that it had gradually built a strong team over the past three years and needed to accelerate the renovation to cope with the new round of business growth.

01|JW Anderson 发布首款运动鞋

02|Buccellati, an Italian jewelry and watch brand, accelerates its layout in Asian market

Buccalliti, an Italian luxury jewelry and watch brand owned by luxury giant Richemont Group, recently opened three new stores in Galleria East department store in Seoul, South Korea, Mitsubishi department store in Tokyo, Japan and Breeze Center in Taipei of China to better grasp the recovering Asian market. Notably, the original owner of the brand is China's Gangtai Group, which was acquired by Richemont Group in 2019.
 
03|Innisfree今年将关闭170家中国门店

韩国美妆巨头爱茉莉太平洋旗下品牌Innisfree悦诗风吟正在调整渠道布局,除退出北美市场外,还将关闭约170家中国门店,以更好地应对疫情后消费者需求和购物习惯的变化。Innisfree于2012年正式进入中国,从2014年起以每年新开100家门店的速度向二三线城市扩张,高峰时期在中国拥有超过600家门店。

In addition to exiting the North American market, about 170 Chinese stores of Innisfree, brand of Amore Pacific, a South Korean beauty giant, will be closed to better cope with the changes in consumer demand and shopping habits after the epidemic. 

Innisfree officially entered China in 2012, expanding to second and third-tier cities at the rate of opening 100 new stores every year since 2014, once in its prosperous period with more than 600 stores in China.
 
04|LINE FRIENDS关闭所有中国门店

一度成为中国年轻消费者打卡点的LINE FRIENDS正在逐渐退出中国线下市场,位于上海淮海路的LINE FRIENDS旗舰店已于5月5日正式关闭,此前该零售商还陆续关闭了在杭州、重庆、北京等地的线下门店。

截至目前,LINE FRIENDS在中国只剩成都远洋太古里和南京凯瑟琳广场的两家店仍在营业,但也将被关闭,未来LINE FRIENDS将专注于线上市场。


04|LINE FRIENDS closes all Chinese stores

LINE FRIENDS, once a favourite destination for Chinese young consumers, is gradually withdrawing from China's offline market. The flagship store of LINE FRIENDS on Huaihai Road in Shanghai was officially closed on 5 May. 

Before that, the retailer also closed its offline stores in Hangzhou, Chongqing, Beijing and other places one after another. Up to now, only two stores of LINE FRIENDS in China are still open, but they will also be closed. In the future, the brand will focus on the online market.

05|APEDE MOD 中国首店5月9日入驻上海环贸iapm

08|范思哲在布拉格开设新店

08|Versace opens new store in Prague

Italian luxury house of Versace fully owned by Capri Holdings has opened the doors of its first boutique in Prague. New store is located at the heart of the city’s luxury shopping hub in Pařížská, with 125 square metre. 

The store’s interior, designed following the concept created by famed architect Gwenael Nicolas and overseen by Donatella Versace. The store features the complete range of products for both men and women.

09|Supreme或将在中国开店

在去年底斥资21亿美元把街头潮牌Supreme收入囊中后,VF集团于本月初把Supreme带进了意大利市场,在米兰开设了品牌全球第13家门店。该集团首席执行官Steve Rendle日前在财报后的电话会议上进一步透露,Supreme不排除会进军中国市场,此前该品牌已成功在中国注册商标。


09|Supreme may open shop in China

At the end of last year, VF Group invested $2.1 billion to collect the street fashion brand Supreme. At the beginning of this month, VF Group brought Supreme into the Italian market and opened its 13th store in Milan. 

Steve Rendle, the group's chief executive, further revealed in a conference call after the financial report that Supreme would not rule out entering the Chinese market after the brand had successfully registered a trademark in China.
 
10|优衣库发布瑞典奥运和残奥会代表队服装系列

10|UNIQLO releases Swedish Olympic and Paralympic team clothing series

Recently, as the official clothing sponsor of Sweden's Olympic and Paralympic teams, UNIQLO announced its clothing designed for the team at the Tokyo Summer Olympic Games, which will be held from 23 July to 8 August. 

As part of UNIQLO's global brand ambassador program, the brand has previously sponsored many professional athletes, but the cooperation with the Swedish Olympic Committee and Paralympic Committee marks the first time UNIQLO has sponsored a complete national team. 

It is reported that Masahiko Furuta is responsible for the design of the series. He combines UNIQLO lifewear concept with innovative production methods and performance fabrics to ensure the comfort and professionalism of competition and training clothes.

13|Gap x YEEZY或于6月发售

18|Zara将退出委内瑞拉市场

18|Zara to withdraw from Venezuela

Inditex, the Spanish clothing giant, will close all stores in Venezuela in the coming weeks, including its three brands Zara, Pull&Bear and Bershka. Since 2007, Inditex Group has been operating franchises in Venezuela. 

Its local stores are managed by Phoenix World Trade, which is headquartered in Panama. The latter is reassessing the commercial value of Zara, Bershka and Pull&Bear in Venezuela. At present, the three brands have closed their stores in Caracas, Venezuela.

19|中国扎染艺术家林芳璐赢得Loewe罗意威工艺奖大奖

Loewe旗下基金会5月25日宣布,中国扎染艺术家林芳璐凭借作品《SHE》成为2021年罗意威工艺奖的大奖得主,此外智利雕塑家David Corvalán的作品《Desértico II (2019)》以及日本陶瓷艺术家Takayuki Sakiyama的作品《Chōtō Listening to the Waves (2019)》均获得了特别表彰奖,入围及获奖的作品将通过 LOEWE罗意威基金会的数字平台“the Room”独家发布。

Loewe's foundation announced on 25 May that Chinese tie-dye artist Fanglu Lin has become the winner of the 2021 Loewe Craft Award for her work, in addition to Chilean sculptor David Corvalán "Desértico II(2019) " and Japanese Ceramic artist“Chōtō Listening to the Waves (2019)”have won special recognition awards. The shortlisted and award-winning works will be released exclusively through the digital platform "the Room" of Loewe Foundation.

01|美国4月零售销售额意外停滞

据美国官方公布的数据显示,美国4月零售销售数据环比无增长,核心零售销售数据环比下降0.8%,其中服装业务下降幅度最大,饭店和汽车经销商的零售额上升。随着对疫情的担忧消退,消费者支出可能开始更多转向娱乐和旅行等服务。


01|US retail sales stalled in April unexpectedly

US retail sales were flat in April, with core retail sales fell 0.8% according to official data. Among which, the declines in apparel were the highest and sales at restaurants and auto dealers increased. As consumers’ fears of the epidemic receding, their spending may begin to shift toward services such as entertainment and travel more than ever.

02|澳洲资本陆续撤离中国市场

澳洲招聘头部企业SEEK近日宣布,剥离持有中国就业平台——智联招聘的大部分股权,持股比例从61.1%降至23.5%。早些时候,澳洲第二大银行——西太银行也是宣布退出中国市场。相反,近年来,澳洲在海外市场的投资持续上升,2020年更是达到了3万亿澳元的高位。

02|Australian capital is withdrawing from the Chinese market

Australian recruitment leader SEEK has divested its majority stake in Chinese employment platform Zhaopin, reducing its stake to 23.5% from 61.1%. Earlier, Australia's second largest bank Westpac, also announced its withdrawal from the Chinese market. On the contrary, Australian investment in overseas markets has continued to rise in recent years, reaching a high of AU$3 trillion in 2020.
 
03|Telfar、Rodarte等11个品牌组成时尚联盟

纽约时装周已确定于9月8日至12日举行,且大部分参与品牌将举办线下时装秀。为更好地落实这一计划,Telfar、Rodarte、Proenza Schouler、Altuzarra、Brandon Maxwell、Prabal Gurung、Sergio Hudson、Monse、Jason Wu 、LaQuan Smith和Markarian11个品牌在IMG的支持下组成了时尚联盟,未来三个季度都会在纽约时装周发布新系列。

03|Telfar, Rodarte and other 11 brands formed the fashion alliance

New York Fashion Week has been set to take place from 8-12 September, and most of the participating brands will hold physical shows. To better active this plan,  11 brands, including Telfar, Rodarte, Proenza Schouler, Altuzarra, Brandon Maxwell, Prabal Gurung, Sergio Hudson, Monse, Jason Wu, Laquan Smith and Markarian, formed a fashion alliance under IMG's support, which will launch new collections at New York Fashion Week for the next three seasons.
 
04|法国启动旅游业复苏计划

据悉,当地时间5月11日,法国旅游部长表示,政府将斥资280亿欧元、约合人民币2183亿元来帮助本国旅游业复苏。

相关数据显示,疫情暴发前,法国是全球游客人数最多的国家,2019年有将近9000万名游客前往法国,旅游业占法国经济总量的8%。但是受疫情影响,赴法游客人数锐减,包括旅游业在内的各产业受到显著影响,法国经济2020年萎缩8.3%。


04|France launches tourism recovery plan

The French tourism minister said on 11 May local time that French government will spend 28 billion euros (about 218.3 billion yuan) to help the country's tourism industry recovery.

Before the epidemic, France was the world's most visited country, with nearly 90 million visitors in 2019, and tourism accounts for 8% of French economy. However, due to the impact of the epidemic, the number of tourists to France has been sharply reduced, and various industries, including tourism, have been significantly affected. The French economy shrank by 8.3% in 2020.

05|联名和复古让GUCCI重登巅峰

近日,古驰再度蝉联时尚搜索平台Lyst 2021年第一季度热门品牌榜单。

得益于古驰近期活跃的跨界联名合作,例如与哆啦A梦于新年期间推出的联名系列,以及首次与户外品牌合作的The North Face × Gucci联名系列。一季度古驰直营渠道的可比销售额同比上涨了33.6%,2021秋冬系列中,古驰首次和姐妹品牌巴黎世家(Balenciage)进行了“合作”。Gucci将把新旧产品占比调整为3:7,以满足更具购买力的传统奢侈品牌消费者。

05|Co-branding and retro have brought Gucci back to the top of popularity

Gucci has topped Lyst's list of top brands for Q1 of 2021 for the second time in a row.

Thanks to Gucci's recent active cross-border co-branding, such as the co-branding series launched with Doraemon during The New Year, and the first collaboration with outdoor brand, The North Face×Gucci. Gucci's comparable sales through its direct channels rose 33.6% in Q1 compared with the same period last year, and for its autumn/winter 2021 collection, Gucci has for the first time "collaborated" with sister brand Balenciage. Gucci will adjust the ratio of new and old products to 3:7 to cater to consumers with more purchasing ability.
 
06|分析预计今年全球奢侈品销售将恢复疫情前水平

据贝恩联合Fondazione Altagamma发布的最新报告显示,中国消费者对奢侈品的需求依然高涨,仍是推动奢侈品牌复苏的主要动力,全球奢侈品市场在第一季度恢复增长,与2019年同期持平,较上一年同期则录得2%至3%的增长。

在此基础上,该报告预计2021年全球奢侈品销售额将达到2500亿至2950亿欧元之间,规模有望超过2019年的2800亿欧元。


06|Analysts expect global luxury sales to return to pre-epidemic levels this year

Chinese consumer demand for luxury goods remains high and remains the main driver of luxury brands’ recovery, with the global luxury market returning to growth in Q1, which is flat from the same period in 2019, and recording 2% to 3% growth y-o-y, according to a new report by Bain and Fondazione Altagamma. 

On such basis, the report predicts that global luxury goods sales will reach between 250 billion and 295 billion euros in 2021, which is expected to exceed the 280 billion euros in 2019.
 
07|法国解封当日购物中心大排长龙

据悉,法国自5月19日起进入解除限制第二阶段,尽管受到每人须占8平方米空间的限制,各地购物中心的客流量依旧比去年同期增长了40%,Ikea和Zara等品牌门店在开门前就引发排队。本土消费者对奢侈品的消费欲望也非常强烈,巴黎爱马仕商店当日清早就大排长龙。


07|Long queues at shopping malls in France when restriction lifted

In the second phase of restriction lifting, which began since 19 May, shopping malls across France saw a 40% y-o-y increase in traffic flow, despite a restriction of 8 square meters from each other in shopping centers. 

Ikea and Zara had long queues even before the stores opened. Local consumers' appetite for luxury goods was also strong, with long queues forming early in the morning at Hermes stores in Paris.

08|免税零售商Dufry第一财季销售额大跌68%

据悉,全球最大的机场免税零售商Dufry在截至3月31日的第一财季业绩显示,收入同比大跌68%至4.603亿瑞士法郎(约合33亿元)。

按地区划分,Dufry集团在欧洲、中东和非洲地区的营收同比下跌79.2%,亚太地区和美洲地区营收则分别录得75.8%和62.6%的跌幅。截止报告期末,Dufry集团有1400家仍在营业的门店,其营收能力约为2019年同期的70%左右。


08|Duty-free retailer Dufry saw Q1 sales plunge 68%

Dufry, the world's largest airport duty-free retailer, reported a 68% y-o-y drop in revenue to 460.3 million Swiss francs in its Q1 ended 31 March 2021. 

Dufry Group revenues fell 79.2% in Europe, the Middle East and Africa, fell 75.8% in Asia Pacific and 62.6%t in the Americas. At the end of the reporting period, Dufry Group had 1,400 stores in operation, and its revenue capacity was around 70% of that of the same period in 2019.
 
09|报告称可持续发展和数字化是时尚和奢侈品行业的驱动力

据德勤日前发布的《2021年全球时尚与奢侈品私募股权和投资者调查》显示,今年100%的投资资金都将目光聚焦在时尚和奢侈品行业,其中对服装和配饰制造行业的投资兴趣占比为67%、化妆品和香水占比42%、服装和配饰零售占比30%、家具占比30%。

德勤合伙人Tommaso Nastasi表示,在未来2-3年内,亚太地区将成为奢侈品市场复苏的主要市场,可持续发展和数字化发展将成为该行业的驱动力。


09|The report stated sustainability and digitalization are driving forces in the fashion and luxury industries

According to Deloitte recently released 2021 global fashion and luxury private equity and investors survey showed that 100% of investment funds have focused attention on the fashion and luxury goods industry in 2021, including 67% investment in clothing and accessories manufacturing industry, 42% in cosmetics and perfume, 30% in clothing accessories and 30% in furniture. 

Deloitte partner Tommaso Nastasi stated that the Asia-Pacific region will be the main market for the recovery of the luxury market in the following 2-3 years, with sustainability and digital development to be the driving force for the industry.
